Roxbury Film Festival: Celebrating the
Vision and the Voice of New England Filmmakers of Color.
The Dudley Film Festival, the first
event of the annual Roxbury Arts Series was held on August 27 and 28, 1999 as
part of Arstuff: A Cross-Cultural Artfest at Northeastern University.
It was co-sponsored
by ACT Roxbury Consortium, the cultural economic development program of Madison
Park Development Corporation, and The Color of Film Collaborative and funded
by The Boston Foundation (Fund for Arts and Culture).
