Thank you to everyone who made the 2003 Roxbury Film Festival a tremendous success: the filmmakers, the films, the actors, the panelists, the audience, the volunteers and of course the Roxbury Film Festival Planning Commitee.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THIS YEAR'S AWARD WINNERS

The 5th Annual Roxbury Film Festival delivered a bigger and better festival than in years past. Films were screened at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, the Blackman Theater at Northeastern University, and the Tower Auditorium at the Massachusetts College of Art. Highlights included the following:

Victoria Rowell: Actress and New England native (Diagnosis Murder; The Young and the Restless; Eve's Bayou; Feast of All Saints).

Neema Barnette: Emmy Award winning writer, producer and director (The Gail Devers Story, Zora is My Name, Better Off Dead, Scattered Dreams).

CCH Pounder: Critically acclaimed film and television actress (The Shield, ER, Unchained Memories, Bagdad Cafe, Prizzi's Honor).

Michael Beach: Actor and New England native (Crazy as Hell; Third Watch; ER, Soul Food).
